California Geometry Practice: What Is Covered and How to Use It

This guide says what the California content standards cover in high school Geometry, how the state test fits in, and how to use the practice on passvana.

What the California content standards cover in Geometry

Mathematics

The California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, which California also publishes course by course for high school. The Geometry course covers congruence, similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, circles, geometric properties expressed with equations, geometric measurement and modeling, and conditional probability.

The state test

California's state test, the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), is taken in high school in grade eleven: the Smarter Balanced assessments in English language arts/literacy and mathematics. The California Science Test is given once in high school.

passvana practice is not the state test and does not copy it. There is no exam on these pages: it is practice, with an explanation for every answer.
