CLT

Inside the CLT Key Facts Digest: What's in Your Resources Tab

The CLT Resources tab now has a full Key Facts Digest built around how the exam is actually structured and scored -- not practice questions, but the mechanics, timing, and strategy facts that shape how you should prepare in the first place.

What's in the tables

Five quick-reference tables cover the facts most test-takers either don't know or get slightly wrong:

  • Test structure and timing -- exact question counts and time limits for all three CLT sections, all covered in full by this site's practice bank.
  • Verbal Reasoning passage & question format -- the real question-type breakdown per passage, and how the distinctive analogy format actually works.
  • Grammar/Writing passage & question format -- the real error categories tested, and how often "NO CHANGE" is actually the correct answer.
  • Quantitative Reasoning format & topics -- the no-calculator constraint, the formula sheet, and the four real topic areas tested.
  • Scoring, acceptance & test-day policy facts -- how the 0-120 composite works, and real facts about CLT's college acceptance and scholarship landscape.

What's in the flashcard decks

Four decks built for active recall rather than passive reading:

  • Test-day and registration logistics -- registration, scoring, and administration facts test-takers most often get wrong.
  • Verbal Reasoning quick facts -- passage, question-type, and strategy facts, including how the analogy format actually works.
  • Grammar/Writing quick facts -- format facts plus the real grammar rules this section builds most of its questions around.
  • Quantitative Reasoning quick facts -- format and strategy facts for the no-calculator math section.

What's in the audio lessons

Three narrated section-strategy walkthroughs -- Verbal Reasoning, Grammar/Writing, and Quantitative Reasoning -- each roughly three to four minutes, for reviewing section strategy hands-free, away from a screen.

A few real facts worth knowing right now

Some of what's in the Digest, as a preview:

  • The last 2 questions attached to every Verbal Reasoning passage are analogy questions -- and the relationship they test is one the passage itself actually demonstrates, not just general vocabulary knowledge.
  • "NO CHANGE" is correct on roughly 20-25% of Grammar/Writing questions -- a meaningful share, so don't avoid it out of instinct.
  • No calculator is allowed on Quantitative Reasoning -- a real, distinctive constraint versus the ACT's Math section or the OAT's Quantitative Reasoning section, both of which permit one.
  • CLT is accepted at over 350 partner colleges, with real scholarship money tied to score ranges at many of them -- worth checking directly for any school on your list.

What's free to preview

One full table and one full flashcard deck are free to preview on the CLT track right now, no purchase required. The remaining tables, decks, and all three audio lessons are part of the same unlock as the full CLT practice-question bank.

Where to find it

Open the CLT track and go to its Resources tab -- the tables, flashcard decks, and audio lessons are listed alongside the official CLT info link, with the free preview items clearly marked.
